Charlotte Christou is an innovative and visionary senior level leader in technology. She founded Digital Frames Inc, a consumer electronics manufacturer for digital imaging products, and ran the company from January 2002 to April 2007, operating in many capacities including market research, business planning, marketing management, engineering development, strategic sales planning, operations, outsourcing, and finance. She has spent over 25 years in digital imaging. After exiting this business, she worked for iBiquity Digital Corporation as Senior Brand Manager, assisting manufacturers with developing products containing HD Radio Technology.

Before founding Digital Frames Inc, Christou’s background included sales, marketing, engineering, management, organizational structures, warehousing, international business, and distribution on a global basis. She was the Head of US Sales for Fabrication and Systems at Avanti Corporation (now Synopsys), a high tech software firm for semiconductor Electronic Design Automation.

Ms. Christou has a proven track record in sales with over 10 years of experience in executive positions at Mitsubishi, Fujitsu and Avnet. Before entering sales, Christou held several engineering management positions, from design engineering to a technical director for E-Systems and Lockheed Martin, with over 12 years experience in hardware, software, and systems, specializing in embedded processors systems and digital imaging.

Christou holds a Master’s in Business from Rice University, and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida. She has multiple awards as an engineer, a sales person, and as an entrepreneur. She previously served on the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) Board of Industry Leaders, CEA Small Business Council, and CEA Digital Imaging Special Interest Group. Christou was a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and servered on the Lakeland NAWBO International Chairwoman. She is an industry speaker on small business issues, outsourcing, strategic planning, and women business issues. She has been quoted in many magazines, including Fortune Small Business, Business Journal, and more. She is published in a book titled “Taking an Idea to Market”.
